Kutch Rann Utsav – The White Desert Cultural Carnival

Born in 2005 to showcase the stunning Great Rann of Kutch and endangered craft traditions, Rann Utsav has grown into a major cultural tourism event attracting millions globally.
Today, it runs three to four months, features a full “tent city” at Dhordo, and supports around 10,000 local artisans annually.
Visitors enjoy folk dance, live music, handicraft exhibitions, camel safaris, hot‑air balloon rides, paramotoring, yoga and local cuisine such as Dabeli, Kutchi Khichdi, Bajra no Rotlo and more.
